With most sprayers there's no way to unscrew the aerator or it was too short for any of the adapters to fit. Your only other option was trying to hook the machine up in the bathroom or laundry room.
We're pleased to introduce the new
Inline Diverter.
Simply pull on the sprayer so it comes out about a foot, unscrew the entire head from the hose, screw in the new inline diverter, screw the sprayer head back on, and you're DONE.... Really!
It takes less than a minute. Works with over 90 % of the sprayer heads from Moen, Delta, Glacier Bay and others.
Here's how you can tell which size hose you have. When you unscrew the entire sprayer head, look at the male threads on the end of the sprayer head where it screws into the hose. They will either be about the diameter of a dime (this is the most common size it's called 1/2" pipe thread) or the threads are a little smaller than the dime, (we call the smaller size 3/8"- no it does not actually measure 3/8' of an inch but that's just plumbers lingo for pipe size)
If you see 3-4 thick threads that are the diameter of a dime, all you need to order is the "Inline diverter".
But if you have the smaller than dime size thread you also need to order the 3/8" adapter for an extra $12.50... Don't worry, if you're not sure, text me a couple pictures so I can see it and help guide you. Bottom line, if you order it and don't need it you can return it for a refund.
If you do need the smaller 3/8" adapter there are 2 different thread patterns - Fine threads (you'll see 6-7 really thin threads) or coarse threads 3-4 thick threads).
I've always thought it was "Better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it".
We now include a slip on adapter, so if there's a problem with your threads this will help get your machine set up.
The Inline diverter works with all machines including the new K-8, and it comes in handy if you travel with your machine.
If you're not sure please text us some pictures and then call me. What we need to see are the male threads. So unscrew the entire head from the hose and text some profile pictures so we can see and count the number of threads. Put a dime over he end of the threads so we can see the size compared to the dime, if it's fine or coarse. Text to . 949.547.1683.
Also send me a wide picture of your entire sink area. We have other options I can tell you about that you might like even better. Like our low profile custom installation kit, it eliminates the ugly hoses.
If you're not sure and just want to get-er done, I suggest ordering the inline diverter with slip on, 3/8" fine & 3/8" coarse
Thanks Stan
