Description
3 canister residential pre-filter system designed to enhance the operation of your Enagic machine. You can even "Hide it" under your sink with one of our faucet systems. We've designed this pre-filter system using all NSF approved media. Compression fittings on the input and output, 2 stainless steel braided 5' supply lines and a California compliant lead free T fitting to split your cold water source are included in the package. The first stage uses a sediment filter and Spartan carbon- the best activated carbon product on the market. The second stage uses uses KDF55, KDF85,(each one is designed to remove specific contaminants, so we've included both), silver impregnated carbon which is a great filter media and antimicrobial, and we add Coconut Carbon to further improve the taste. The third filter is the new nano technology for dealing with hard water issues. Unlike traditional ion exchange filters that may only last a few weeks in areas with very hard water (10+ grains of hardness), our new nano technology lasts 10,000 gallons. It does not remove the calcium from your water,it alters the structure of the calcium ions so they prefer to stick to themselves instead of sticking to the metal plates. The result is that your machine stays cleaner, works better and the water tastes great. Our pre-filter system will help remove chlorine, chloramines, lead, sulfur and other contaminants along with improving the taste and reducing the odor of your tap water from a municipal water source. For those of you with specific problems or desires we can further customize our filter systems to reduce fluoride, nitrates, or deal with other problems. Feel free to call us to discuss you needs. A UV option is also available to help treat water for virus and bacteria- you should add UV if you are on well water, and you should get a professional water report to check your water for other hazards, and to help determine if you would be better off with our "WellDone" filter system.
